Arrival in hotel in Ravenna or sourrounding, welcome drink, dinner and overnight

Breakfast and departure for a bycicle day.  From Cervia we reach Pisignano and after Cannuzzo, from here the hilly landscape begins acrross the course of the river Savio. We leave the Ravenna territory to enter in Forlì and Cesena. Nearby Santa Maria Nuova , we begin to climb towards Bertinoro, know as “ The Balcony of Emilia Romagna “  The road becomes more hard. On arrival ospitality , good food and excellent wine await for us. This small village is as the home of hand-pulled  piadina and sfoglia.  Lunch in a typical local trattoria and than visit tasting of a cellar where produce Sangiovese wine.Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and departure  from Porto Garibaldi by bicycle through Delta del Po to Comacchio where you can admire the famous Trepponti and feel the atmosphere of this lagoon little city. Visit to a factory museum , a place that rapresent animportant part of history of Comacchio, for fishing and processing of marinated eel, today is a Slow-Food presidium. Fishing lunch for those wishing to taste the famous eel. In the afternoon by bycicle we reach Ostellato and continuing on, we pass trough the archeological area of the Greco-Roman city of Spina.  Remaining on the Agost riverbank we reach the unforgettable spectacle of Valli di Comacchio where we admire pink herons and wild white horses. At the end we have to cross the Reno river by ferry boat to get  to San’Alberto and back to Ravenna . Dinner at hotel and overnight. 

Breakfast, feet on the pedals and departure for city guide tour to discover the rich mosaics heritage. First stop is Santa Appollinare Nuovo church, the tour continues to the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia , San Vitale Basilica , an octogonal - shaped temple. Crossing the historical centre, we reach the Mausoleum of Teodorico and the gardens. We suggest lunch in a ancient wine cellar between history and food excellence near the tomb of Dante. After lunch visit to ancient Classe arbour  in the archeological park. Here Octavian Augustus had the imperial fleet here, to control the entire Eastern Mediterranean shape. The last stop by bicycle is Santa Appollinare in Classe the famous Basilica. From Ravenna center about 8 km of cycling. Back to hotel , dinner and overnight.
